Curious about corporal punishment.  Have you been a naughty boy?  We asked our readers about their experiences and here is what they told us.

What is your favorite and why?

• Probably the belt because it reminds me of the whippins I got as a teenager.
• Favorite paddle is an oak one, 3/8″ thick, 1 1/2″ wide and 24″ long. I like it because it has a fantastic sting that stretches across both cheeks, and has a “give” that adds to the impact.
• My favorite paddle to be used on me is leather, I can handle a longer session with it and it is good for a build up.  I tend to like using the leather paddle as a warm up on others but my favorite paddle on others is either aluminum or rubber. although I also have a real nice hickory one if they like wood.
• Actually, I prefer a hand to an actual device. The only paddles I own is a half inch, black, small, oak? paddle. I actually use it to lightly beat my balls for CBT sessions, so it’s my favorite because of that. A similar one ended up breaking during a spanking at a leather even in Atlanta April 2008. There had to be an aberration or defect in the wood because my ass isn’t THAT tough.

Which do you dread the most?

• The hairbrush
• I dread the bath brush. It is bamboo and very solid, and very heavy.
• On me rubber, yet I like the intensity of it at the same time…
• Not really sure, since my paddling experiences really aren’t that extensive or extreme.

What have you not tried, but are curious?

• a Quirt, a cat-o-9 tails, a bullwhip
• Have never tried an electrical cord, but have seen it used.
• don’t think there are any I haven’t tried. been around too long.
• Canes. I’ve done some lite single tail work in the past. Maybe it was just the horniness, or the atmosphere, or my younger libido, but I found it enjoyable. So we’d have to see about the more extreme items.

What do you think of flogging?

• Never tried it but would like to
• Flogging is a wonderful thing. I am still looking for a flogger that “splays” when it is used. Most that i have experienced feel more like a paddle or club because the strands stay together and hit in a closed pattern rather than spread out like a fan.
• Flogging can be great! there are many different floggers out there and each give a different feeling. Floggers are great for various levels of intensity either giving or receiving.
• Love it immensely! I haven’t had a good flogging massage in a long time. *sigh*

What do you think of canes?

• Not to bad as long as the guy swinging it knows what he is doing
• Canes are sensational. The pain is intense and very concentrated. It penetrates deeply, but is such a narrow band, that you can take a good number of strokes. Two ways are best: strokes space at long interval must be VERY hard or the don’t do the trick, OR, very rapid, like 3 or more per second, and then sustained for a minute or too.  The challenge of “100 in a minute” is fun.
• Love the canes, I give primarily with canes and rods but it is hard to find men who know how to use them or are not afraid of them. try using them with tantric breathing they are great!
• They scare me in general, as I’d really rather not get to the meat shredding department, perhaps not even to the point of severe welting.  But if they can be applied in a lite, non-destructive way, I might be game for the stinging sensations as opposed to the thudding sensations.
